The S4E BATTERY with EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) technology, (Enhanced Liquid Electrolyte Battery), is especially suitable for vehicles with entry-level Start / Stop system.
Its high cycle stability provides sufficient energy at all times to restart the vehicle. Even when a large number of electrical consumers are connected to the vehicle during the stopping phase, its starting power is exceptional.
In repetitive deep discharge situations, EFB technology offers improved cyclic durability compared to higher-class liquid electrolyte batteries.
 
EFB batteries offer approximately 85,000 motor starts, compared to 30,000 motor starts for standard liquid electrolyte products.
EFB technology now comes standard on many entry-level start-stop vehicles.
Increase in dynamic charge current acceptance relative to liquid electrolyte batteries (+170%), due to improved design, including special carbon additives and high charge acceptance type separators.
