Lubegard Engine Oil Protectant for V-Twin was developed by the former head of Mobil oil applied lubrication research group and contributor to the development of Mobil 1 oil. It was engineered by Dr. Philip Landis. Lubegard's liquid wax ester (LXE) technology was found in the Lubegard V-Twin primary case chain protectant. The Lubegard V-Twin primary case chain protectant is suitable for use in 1984 and later FL, FLT, FX, FXD, FXR and FXST models with a wet type diaphragm spring clutch. The Lubegard V-Twin primary case chain protectant can be added directly to the primary case. There should be about 4 ounces per quart of primary fluid. It is fully compatible with conventional or synthetic fluids.
